Louise B. Tyler

Louise B. Tyler aka "Scooter”, Momma, Granny & Weezy age 85 of Toledo, Ohio was surrendered to the Lord surrounded by her family on December 15, 2022. Louise was born on March 17, 1937 to the late Walter & Rosa Tyler. She was born and lived in Washington DC until elementary school where she attended Walter Jones. She then came to Toledo to attend Jones Junior High and graduate from Scott High School, "Go Bulldogs''. After four children she returned to Washington, and later had three more children and became an LPN. Louise was a true lefty, and she swung it often, whether it was police officers or disciplining her children & grandchildren no matter the issue she got it straight! Louise retired from Bethesda Nursing Home in Silver Springs, MD in 1993, she then moved back to Toledo, Ohio. Since her retirement Louise loved her crossword puzzles, playing the lottery, watching the Price is Right, Perry Mason and Cash Explosion, she also enjoyed meeting new people and eating her sweets. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Rosa, her sons Stephen and James Tyler, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 grandsons and 2 great grandsons. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Gwendolyn, Carolyn, Kenneth, Teresa (Ricky) and Deborah Lynn, her sister Pastor Geraldine Watson, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and neighbors. The family will be receiving friends and family in the Lighthouse Church Center of Hope 1235 Division St Toledo, Ohio on Monday January 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. when the funeral services will begin. Burial will be private.

The Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home 2907 Lagrange St Toledo, Ohio, have assisted the family with arrangements. The family will be receiving friends and family in the Lighthouse Church Center of Hope 1235 Division St Toledo, Ohio on Monday January 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. when the funeral services will begin. Burial will be private.
