Roger Max “Buz” Druckemiller age 72 of Toledo passed away Sunday June 28, 2026, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Roger was born on January 6, 1954, in Toledo to Marvin and Eva Mae (Huckery) Druckemiller. He was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church.

Roger attended Marshall Elementary, Jones Junior High and graduated from Libbey High School. In middle school; he began taking art classes at The Toledo Museum of Art, and he was also taking Cello lessons and played in both middle school and high school orchestras. While at Libbey, he was on the staff of the school newspaper, “Crystal”. He was also a carrier for the Toledo Blade in the old south end for 8 years.

After high school he joined the U.S Army and proudly served for 18 years mostly in Germany and obtained the rank of Sargent. After being honorably discharged he began studies and became a Minister of the Apostles Anglican Church serving at Pilgrim Church and at Wolcott House in Maumee, Ohio. He enjoyed traveling, classical music, art and Michigan State Football. He was a member of Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War.

The past few years he was impacted with heart disease and Alzheimer’s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, and sister-in-law Jacki. Roger, is survived by his siblings Marilyn Sue (Ronald) Boudouris, Karen (Prem) Charles and twin brother Robert Maurice Druckemiller. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Monday July 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Roger will be on Tuesday July 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lucas Lutheran Church 745 Walbridge Ave Toledo, Ohio 43609 where the family will greet family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service. Burial will take place on Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in Marion National Cemetery Marion, IN.
