David John Frania

David John Frania, age 72, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born November 28, 1953, to Ethel (Giesler) and John Frania, who preceded him in death.

David graduated from St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in Fremont, Ohio. He worked at Eckrich, later becoming a realtor with Surphur Springs Realty Company and finally becoming a team member at Target, Rossford, where he was employed until his death. He enjoyed watching home-makeover shows, so being a realtor was always a part of him.

He is survived by a sister, Sister Joanne Mary Frania, SND, Whitehouse; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Cookie Frania, Monclova; two nieces and a nephew whom he loved dearly; seven grand-nieces and six grandnephews, three great-grand-nephews, three great-grand-nieces and many cousins.

David's Life Celebration will be held June 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Road Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on June 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
