David Thomas Oberski
October 31, 1952 – July 27, 2022
David, the eldest child of Donald and Dorothy Romanco Oberski of Toledo died in St. Anne’s Hospital, Toledo as a result of COPD complications. Destined to be an auto mechanic from a young age when he took apart and rebuilt his bicycle, David worked on thousands of cars over the years. He was an excellent engine and body mechanic with a keen sense of troubleshooting and repair. David learned much of his auto knowledge at Macomber high school. As cars became more automated with technology, he would research online and read manuals to further his knowledge to fix later model cars. David loved NASCAR races, classic rock and his Halloween birthday. He is survived by his children Ryan Oberski and Shellsea Oberski Hernandez of Florida, brother Rob Oberski (Ann) of Wauseon, sister Sally Oberski and his girlfriend Lisa McIntire of Toledo.
