David Paul Meyers

David Paul Meyers, age 76 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania where he had resided for 7 years. He was born on January 26, 1948 in Oakland, California to Willis and Edith (Watson) Meyers. He was married briefly to Barbara (Cox) Meyers and a son was born to them, Paul Christopher Meyers. David loved his Bible and he enjoyed telling others of his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was looking forward to his heavenly home. He served in the US Air Force from 1975-79, after discharge he lived in San Antonio, TX until he moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he spent 30 years.

He leaves behind his son Paul, and two sisters, Jean (Meyers) Priestap and Sharon (Meyers) LaBolle, three half-siblings, Connie (Meyers) Griffith, John Meyers and Elizabeth Meyers and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Grace (Meyers) Hurlbut and Ruth (Meyers) Bell.

David will be laid to rest privately on February 16 in Toledo Memorial Park with full military honors. Many thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania.
