Carolyn Meehan

Carolyn Meehan, age 89 of Toledo, passed away April 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving children. Carolyn was born January 13, 1932 to John and Irene (Willitzer) Russell. She married John Meehan and together they raised their three children. Carolyn worked for Owens-Illinois and Washington Local Schools where she was the school librarian at McGregor Elementary School. She was a parishioner at the Historic Church of St. Patrick in Toledo.

Surviving are her children, Patrick (Karen) Meehan of Hudson, Ohio and Debbie (Mike) Bieringer of Ann Arbor, MI; grandchildren, Blake Bieringer, Alexandria Bieringer, Kayla (Daniel) Johnson, Connor Meehan, Taylor Meehan, Madison Clevenger (Blake) and Jack Haynes. Also surviving are great grandchildren Noah and Greyson. Preceding Carolyn in death were her parents, her husband John and her daughter Kellie Haynes.

The family will be receiving friends Friday April 23, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Historic Church of St. Patrick, 130 Avondale Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43604 where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Historic Church of St. Patrick 130 Avondale Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43604.
