Robert J. Lesniewicz

Robert J. Lesniewicz age 85 of Port Clinton passed away Saturday May 13, 2023, in St. Charles Hospital. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 6, 1937, to Walter and Mary (Gasirowski) Lesniewicz. He attended Woodward High School. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran where he earned the rank of Sergeant. He had worked at Toledo Plate and Glass, was a heat-treating line worker for Dana and retired from the body shop at Toledo Jeep. Robert was an avid outdoorsman; duck hunting and fishing were his passion. He and his brother managed their property with a charter boat business and lodge for over 20 years. He was a member of the Pointe Mouillee Waterfowlers Association, a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited, one of the founding members of Lake Erie Wildfowlers being their longtime treasurer, Lake Erie Sportsman Association, Lake Erie and Western Basin Charter boat Association. Roberts' biggest passion was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Rosemary. Robert is survived by his daughters Kim (Steve) Williams and Michelle Borowski, brother John, grandchildren Ryan (Daniel), Kelly, Chelsey, Darien, and Stevee. Also surviving are great grandchildren Jazalyn and Brenden and great friend Dave Laub.
The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Thursday May 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be on Friday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. where the funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.
