Lois Louise Rywalski

Lois Louise Rywalski, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2022.

Lois was born on August 13, 1936 to Myron and Daisy (Elizabeth) Stausmire. She was a proud graduate of DeVilbiss High School where she made many lifelong friends. After high school, Lois enjoyed a short career at Gulf Oil before marrying Donald Rywalski and starting a family. Lois and Donald greatly enjoyed the outdoors and spent as much time as possible at the family getaway on Middle Bass Island fishing, swimming, playing games and entertaining friends and family. After Donald passed, Lois enjoyed travel and fun with her companion, Tom Morrow, and a fulfilling job in the Metrology department of the General Motors plant in Toledo where she made many dear friends. Throughout her life, Lois enjoyed attending all sorts of sporting events and convinced both of her kids that their respective teams were her favorite.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Gail Tavill and grand twins, Isabel & Sam and her son, David (Amy) and their daughters, Morgan & Emma as well as nieces, nephews and many friends she made along the way. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her brother, Jack Stausmire, and her longtime partner, Tom Morrow.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd, Toledo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10 am in the funeral home with burial to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
