Katherine Sue Szymanski

Katherine Sue Szymanski “Kubi”, age 64 of Sylvania, Ohio passed away April 1, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Katherine was born July 7, 1956 in Toledo. Katherine attended Woodward High School and Stautzenberger College. She married Daniel Szymanski July 30, 1988 and they enjoyed 33 years of marriage. Kathy was a loving mother who had a great sense of humor. She would often come up with the silliest things that would make you laugh until you cried. Kubie always had a way of making a bad situation so much better. She was so intelligent and had stories that always taught you something.

Surviving are her loving husband Daniel, children, Margaret (Brian) Deyton , Daniel (Caitlyn) Szymanski and Christina Pettit her mother, Annie Kubiak and 9 grandchildren. Also surviving are her best friend, Susan Mrozinski and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death were her sisters, Anita Fielder and Mathanne Jagodzinski
