Timothy J. Courtney

Timothy J. Courtney age 65 of Toledo passed away April 23, 2023, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Tim was born December 23, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio to John and Rosemary (Campisano) Courtney. He graduated from Marion Catholic High School in Marion, Ohio and in 1980 from Miami University Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Tim married Suzanne Schuster July 3, 1982, at St. Clement Catholic Church Toledo, Ohio. He worked for K-Mart Corporation for 17 years until 1996. Tim was a huge Browns fan, the one seen waving a Cleveland Browns flag at the 1994 Winter Olympics. The other sports teams he rooted for were, Miami of Ohio, The Ohio State Buckeyes, The Cleveland Indians and The University of Toledo. He also enjoyed watching Nascar, Formula 1, Golf and cooking shows. Most of all he loved his family. Whether he was traveling on vacation or spending time with them at home, time with family is what he loved best.
Surviving are his loving wife Suzanne, daughters, Sonya (Dave) Mottram, Stacey Ketter, sisters, Lisa (Jeff) Ovenden, Laura Courtney and Tricia (Dan) Tischler and grandchildren, Courtney Ketter, Dillon Ketter and Sara Mottram.

Tim’s Life Celebration will be Saturday April 29, from 11 am until noon with the memorial service beginning at noon with Deacon Joel Junga officiating at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. The family prefers contributions be made to The American Cancer Society. His family encourages all attending to wear their Cleveland Browns, Ohio State or University of Toledo gear to his Life Celebration.
