Norman Shufelt

Norman Shufelt age 90 of Toledo, Ohio passed away December 18, 2025, at home. Norman was born April 10, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio to George and Delma (Lehnart) Shufelt. Norman was a long-time resident of Zeigler Group Homes in Toledo, Ohio, where he will be remembered as a great resident who was loved by his roommates and his caregivers. His favorite pastime was listening to his transistor radio.

 Norman was from a large family. His brothers included Murlin, Harley, Roy, Donald, George Jr., LaVern and Elton Shufelt, and his sisters were Ruth Lewis, Vivian Miller, Shirley Lewandowski, Elaine Winfrey, Erma Sanford, Pauline Baumgartner and Elda Lechner.

 Surviving are his special friends Richard Freese and Michael Zeigler Sr. Preceding him in death were his parents, many of his siblings and good friends Louis Turley and William Sparks.

 Norman's Life Celebration will be Monday December 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio where his funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery Perrysburg, Ohio.
