Nancy Dawn (Frayer) Lodge

Nancy Dawn (Frayer) Lodge, age 77, entered eternal peace on April 2, 2026, with her son by her side. She was under the care of Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Toledo. Nancy was born on April 12, 1948 to Russell O. and Marie (Upell) Frayer.

Nancy, formerly from Deerfield, MI, attended St. Alphonsus Catholic School. She graduated from Deerfield High School in 1966, where she excelled academically and was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year. She attended the University of Michigan. All through high school she enjoyed sewing, baking, and worked summers with her father and grandfather on the family farm. Before retirement she was employed with Neal Realty as a Realtor. She always had a great love for animals.

Nancy is survived by her son, Mark (Cindy) St. Germain, her grandchildren- Madeline, Joseph, and Benjamin St. Germain, and sister, Debra Gilson.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Edward Lichtle, and her brother Thomas Frayer.

Her family will receive friends for visitation at Light of Christ Parish, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Deerfield, MI, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the Memorial Mass celebrated by Father Jeff Poll to follow at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will take place after the mass in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, and a celebration of life luncheon will conclude the service at the Salt Center at the parish.

The family would like to thank Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for all the love and care that Nancy received while under their care.Memorial contributions for Nancy are suggested to benefit Light of Christ Parish or the Lucas County Animal Shelter.
