Laura Ann Mossing

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura Ann Mossing, age 67, who peacefully departed this life on January 10, 2026, at the Franciscan Care Center in Toledo. Born on March 31, 1958, in Monroe, MI, Laura was the beloved daughter of Richard and Margaret (Bromley) Cole. She took pride in being a 1976 graduate of Perrysburg High School and had a fulfilling career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) before achieving her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. Laura dedicated herself to caring for others in the Operating Room at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

In 1997, Laura married her cherished husband, Don Mossing, and together they created a loving partnership that lasted for over 28 beautiful years.

Laura's heart found solace in the serene beauty of the beach while her spirit soared through her love for music, with Jazz holding a special place in her heart. As someone who cherished life’s little joys, she enjoyed dancing, gardening both indoors and outdoors, traveling to new places, and cooking meals that brought family and friends together. A true sports enthusiast, Laura was a passionate supporter of the Michigan Wolverines and the Chicago Cubs.

Laura's legacy lives on in the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandchild Aiden William Beck. She will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband Don, her sons Brock Hamman and Jeff Beck, her siblings Linda Cole, Barry (Sandy) Cole, Brian Cole, and Randy (Kerri) Cole, as well as her treasured grandchild Olivea Ann Beck.

The family invites friends to celebrate Laura’s remarkable life at Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home located at 5055 Secor Rd, Toledo, Ohio, on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A time of additional viewing will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 2649 US-20, Swanton, Ohio, where a funeral mass will commence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date.

Though our hearts ache with her departure, we hold tightly to the cherished memories of Laura and the love she shared so freely.
