Judy LaCourse

Judy Fran LaCourse, age 76, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at her residence. Judy was born in Jellico, TN, on November 25, 1947, to Robert and Dora (Smiddy) Dobson. Judy was a retired Lucas County Sheriff Deputy. She loved attending church, listening to gospel music and watching Christian TV. Judy enjoyed traveling to visit family in Tennessee. She was a kind, caring person who loved to cook, shop and go out to dinner, especially with her son and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Robert and Dora Dobson; and husband, Rick LaCourse. She is survived by her son, Tim (Beth) Broka, grandchildren, Shelby, Chase and Paige Broka. She is also survived by her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Road, Toledo, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where the funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
