Jean Engelhardt

Jean Engelhardt, age 83 of North Toledo, passed away November 18, 2025, at Ayden of Toledo. Jean was born June 4, 1942, in Toledo Ohio to Raymond and Catherine LaPlante. Together they raised six children. Jean was an avid walker who loved reading books and dancing.

Surviving are her children Daniel (Donna) Engelhardt, Charles Engelhardt, Terry (Shirley Jones) Engelhardt, August John Engelhardt and daughter Pam Booher Also surviving are her brother William "Bud" (Joy) LaPlante, 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Engelhardt, son in law Kevin Booher, brothers, Thomas and Raymond LaPlante, sisters Mary Jo Whetsel and twin sister Janet LaPlante.

Jean's life celebration will begin Sunday November 30, 2025, from 2 pm until 6 pm at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will continue Monday December 1, 2025, from 9 am until funeral service begins at 10 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, Ohio.
