Donna Jean Bernhard and Clarence Ernest Bernhard Sr

Donna Jean Bernhard age 88 of Sylvania passed away Tuesday February 11, 2025, at The Lakes of Sylvania.

Donna worked at Raceway Park for over 25 years. She was known for her strong will, unwavering determination and support for her Block Watch community in the Lagrange St and Polish Village area. She enjoyed her Bingo and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Mildred Combs, son Steven Bernhard, brothers William and Dean Combs and sister Helen McCauley.

Clarence Ernest “Tiny” Bernhard Sr. age 91 of Sylvania passed away Tuesday December 23, 2025, at The Lakes of Sylvania.

Clarence was a retired 30-year retired employee of Dura. He liked to fish and boat, and you could usually find him tinkering in his garage creating projects from wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Marietta Bernhard, son Steven Bernhard, brother Richard Bernhard and sisters Carolyn Sutter and Marilyn Lee.

On January 22, 2025, they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Together, they are survived by their son Clarence “TJ” (Cindy) Bernhard Jr, grandson Kirk Bernhard, great granddaughters Alexa and Alyssa Bernhard, daughter in law Gayle Bernhard, sister of Donna, Kay Hunt, brothers of Clarence, Clifford and David Bernhard and sisters Demaris Turski and Judy Rogacki.

Please join the family in celebrating the lives of both Donna and Clarence in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Friday January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. where the funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
