Cora Mae Pittman

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cora Mae Pittman, a beloved mother, devoted caregiver, and faithful follower of Christ, who departed this life on April 6, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on August 11, 1939, in Marion, Alabama, Cora lived a life marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

Cora was a proud college graduate and dedicated her career to the automotive industry as a Supervisor at Champion Spark Plug. A student of God, Cora was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was active in church prayer groups and was a faithful member of the usher board. She enjoyed the many trips to visit family in Alabama and Georgia. Known for her kindness and generosity, she embodied the spirit of the Good Samaritan, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who was sick, troubled, or experiencing any difficulty. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.

Cora is survived by her loving children, daughter, Angie Pittman-Carter, and son, Al Pittman, both of whom carry forward her legacy of love and faith. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Diante Pittman, Janika Adler, Arianna Pittman and Cecily Wilson, and her 10 great grandchildren. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Luesinda (Hawkins) Wyatt, sisters, Rachael Parker, Elizabeth Gray, Sarah Kynard, and Mary Nash, brothers, Ben Wyatt Jr., Perry Wyatt, Isaac Wyatt and Billy Wyatt..

The family will gather to celebrate Cora's life and honor her memory with a visitation beginning Friday April 24, 2026, from 10 am until noon at Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will begin at noon in the funeral home with interment following in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects, share their memories, and reflect on the profound impact Cora had on their lives.
