Catherine M. Bowers

Katherine Marie Bowers age 80 of Toledo passed away April 5, 2026, at Majestic Care in Toledo. Katherine was born on September 9, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio to Donald Annabelle (Beeman) Bowers.

Kathy was a parishioner of St. Hedwig Church for many years until its closing. She was a longtime volunteer at the St. Hedwig Polish Festival where she would enjoy eating the homemade pierogies and polka dancing. Kathy enjoyed playing cards and bingo and many of her best memories were with her friends at the Zablocki Senior Center on Lagrange St.

Surviving are her sister Rosemary Segura, nieces Virginia Hanna, Jacqueline (Jack) Meno and Christine Bowers. Also surviving are 5 great nieces and nephews, Anthony Goings, Jackie Thames, Lacey Hannah, Van Savage, and Ryan Savage. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Bowers and great nephew Christopher Savage.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 14, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am in St. Adalbert Catholic Church 3233 Lagrange St. Toledo, Ohio where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am in the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Urbanski Funeral Homa a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio is assisting the family.
