Carole Piorkowski

Carole A. Piorkowski age 77, formerly of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully October 13, 2025, at Hickory Ridge in Temperance, MI. Carole was born December 9, 1947, in Toledo's St. Vincent Hospital to Stanley and Ann (Napierala) Piorkowski. A 1965 graduate of Rogers High School, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo in 1969 and taught briefly at Scott High School. Carole went on to a 25-year career with the Bureau of Worker's Compensation.

Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph, who passed away at birth in 1949, her parents, Stanley and Ann, and great-grandson Daniel Ranazzi. She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Annmarie) Pietras, Kevin (Julie) Pietras and Steve (Andrea) Pietras; grandchildren, Kammie (David) Ranazzi, Austin (Madison) Pietras, Ava Pietras, Katlyn Pietras and Adalyn Pietras; and great-grandson, Gregory Pietras. In honor of Carole's compassion for animals, memorial contributions are encouraged to a local animal shelter in her memory. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers who assisted her during her time of need. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd.
