With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Ann Marie Mendel, a beloved member of the Toledo community, who peacefully departed this world on November 23, 2024. Born in Toledo, Ohio on October 8, 1940, to Frank and Rose Mendel, Ann was a devoted daughter and faithful servant to her community.
A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Ann dedicated over three decades of her life to serving as a deputy clerk in the Civil Division of the Lucas County Courts. Her commitment to justice, integrity, and kindness made her a cherished colleague and friend to many.
An active member of both St. Hedwig and St. Adalbert churches, Ann's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her unwavering devotion to her Catholic beliefs and her Polish heritage enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Ann will forever be remembered for her caring nature, generous spirit, and genuine kindness. Her warm smile and compassionate heart touched the lives of countless individuals. Her love for her family, friends, and coworkers knew no bounds. Ann's presence was a source of comfort and light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ann is survived by many cousins, including her godson, Jeff (Paula) Lowell, Steven Lowell, Tom (Julie) Sparagowski and Gary (Lori) Sparagowski, who held a special place in her heart. She now joins her beloved parents in eternal peace.
Ann's funeral service will begin Saturday November 30, 2024, at 9:30 am in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Toledo, Ohio where the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am. Her final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery in Toledo, where she will be laid to rest beside her parents. Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623 is assisting the family.
May we all remember Ann Marie Mendel with gratitude for the light she brought into our lives and the love she so freely shared. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding beacon of kindness and compassion for us all.
