Sharon Bearns
July/13/1946 - March/30/2024

Sharon Bearns age 77 of Oregon, Ohio formerly of Benton Township, Ohio passed away March 30, 2024, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Sharon was born July 13, 1946, in Port Clinton, Ohio to Orten and Leona (Foss) Bearns. A 1964 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, she worked for a while as a waitress for Cozy Corners Restaurant in Oak Harbor. She lived on her family’s farm all her life. She will be remembered as a sweet person who loved animals and was a kind and gentle soul.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Rodney Bearns. Surviving are her cousins, Robert Foss, Carol Foss, Mary Foss, Emily Kruse, Doris Holaday and Gretchen Tedrow.

Memorial Services
Sharon’s visitation will be Tuesday April 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church 17877 OH-579, Martin, OH 43445. The funeral service will begin in the church at noon with Pastor Matthew Musteric officiating. Interment will follow in Elliston Cemetery Elliston, Ohio. Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, is assisting the family. Sharon’s family would like to give special thanks to the nurses of Ayden of Oregon and the nurses at St. Charles Hospital ICU for their care and compassion through her illness. Memorial contributions in Sharon’s honor are encouraged to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
