Antonio Martinez, Jr.

Antonio Martinez, Jr., 78 years old of Toledo, Ohio passed away February 28, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Antonio was born March 17, 1945, in San Antonio, TX to Antonio and Andrea (Salas) Martinez. He was employed at the Toledo Jeep plant until retiring in 2016. Tony loved fishing and riding his Suzuki 1500 motorcycle.

Surviving are his children, Reena Bennett, MaShell Martinez, Antonia Martinez and Todd Martinez, sisters; Lupe Siewert, Juanita Hernandez, Dora George, Vera Plasencio, Alice Reel, Lillian Katko, and Estel Smith, brothers; Benny Martinez, John Martinez, Steve Martinez and George Plasencio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon Martinez, brother, Andy Martinez, sisters, Mary Morales and Carolyn Gonzalez.

Memorial Services
Antonio’s Life Celebration will be held from 2 until 7 pm Thursday March 7, 2024, at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. His visitation will continue Friday March 8, 2024, at 10 am in the Funeral Home with his Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Perrysburg, Ohio.
