Geraldine Marie (Kazmierczak) Simpson age 83 of Toledo, passed away Saturday February 17, 2024, in her residence. She was born in Toledo to Frank and Helen (Turski) Kazmierczak on November 24, 1940. She was a lifelong Toledo resident. Geraldine was a meat wrapper for many years. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and sewing. She also enjoyed painting and one of her paintings was displayed in the Toledo Museum of Art. Geraldine managed the Ohio Theatre for over 10 years during the 1990’s. Her biggest love was her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robroy Simpson, sons, Joseph F and Ronald W. Dunmeade and her sister Roseann Lutz. Geraldine is survived by her children Laura (Dave) Cousino and John A. Dunmeade, 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Walter (Lucy) Kazmierczak and sister Anita (James) Minor. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. where the funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Toledo, Ohio

The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. where the funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Toledo, Ohio
