Gregory Zaciek age 73 of Toledo passed away on Sunday February 11, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with family by his side, 800 S Detroit Ave, Toledo, Oh 43609. Gregory was born in Toledo on April 15, 1950 to Edward and Joan (Mikolajczyk) Zaciek. Greg worked in retail management for over 47 years and retired from Krogers. In his retirement years he also worked for Stone Oak Country Club and the Perrysburg School System. Greg was an avid sports collector, especially his favorites Notre Dame and the San Francisco 49ers. Greg also enjoyed travelling on cruises, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and his annual trip to Myrtle Beach. He also loved the game of golf and was fortunate enough to get a hole in one in his playing career. He was preceded in death by his parents. Greg is survived by his wife Barbara (Rygalski), son Todd (Jenny Howell) Zaciek, grandchildren Madeline and Ryder Zaciek, siblings Kathy (Mike) Bialecki, Diane (Geoff) Boyle, Ron (Terie) Zaciek, Carol (Carlin) Abbott, Barbara (Jim) Sacco, Sharon (Tim) Benz and Chris Zaciek, sister in law Stephane (Bob) Meyer, and brother in law Bob (Deborah) Rygalski, and countless nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio on Thursday February 22, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where a scripture service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be on Friday February 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Interment will be private at a later date. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Any contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Kidney Cancer Association.
