Janet Lynn Kirby, age 59, passed away Saturday November 25, 2003, at St. Vincent Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born January 27, 1964, to George and Betty (Sowders) Kirby and she was a 1982 graduate of Woodward High School. Janet worked at Meijers for over 20 years at the Wheeling location in different departments, primarily jewelry and apparel. She had special people in her life, two special ladies she felt were like family, Mary and Aryon and her four favorite coworkers, Ginger, Carol, Penny and Rusty. Janet enjoyed shopping, watching TikTok videos on her phone, but her favorite thing was spending time with her sister.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving sister Deborah Ann Kirby (James Barker), nieces, Stephanie and Carrie Upchurch and nephew, CJ Upchurch along with her fur babies Fluffy butt and Pandi. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, and her brother Joe Upchurch.

Memorial Services
Janet’s life celebration will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 2907 Lagrange St. Toledo, where the funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor George Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery Toledo, Ohio.
