John H. Stalder Jr.

John H. Stalder Jr. age 72 of Toledo passed away peacefully September 10, 2023. John was born in Toledo, December 23, 1950, to John and Geraldine (Zellers) Stalder. After attending Sylvania High School, he joined the U.S. Army. Following the Vietnam War, he began working for the Railroad and retired from CSX Railroad after more than 25 years. John was a member of Highland Meadows Country Club where he caddied in his younger years and golfed in father and son tournaments. His passions were spending time at the family’s Clark Lake cottage, bowling, fishing and golfing.

Surviving are his children Sara (Michael) Siler and Todd Stalder, ex-wife, Brenda Stalder, brother James Stalder, sisters, Jennifer (Tim) Siefert, Mary (John) Horen and Sarah (Alan) Blanchett, grandchildren, Hayden Siler and Ava Siler. Also Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Stalder and Geraldine Brandon and sister-in-law Billi Stalder.

Memorial Services
Funeral services will be private. Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio assisted the family.
