Faye Snuggs
June/1/1923 - June/21/2023

Faye Snuggs, 100 years young of Temperance, MI, formerly of Gibsonburg, Ohio passed away at home June 21, 2023. Faye was born June 1, 1923, in Archers Fork, Ohio to Earl and Edna (Haught) Hood. She married Leon Snuggs in 1946 and together they raised four children. Faye enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and when her children were grown, she started a second career as a home nurse’s aide. Faye enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching and collecting hummels. Later in life she enjoyed traveling the world with her family.

Surviving are her loving children, Roberta (Carroll) Doster, James (Suzanne) Snuggs, Mark (Sarah) Snuggs and Elizabeth (Cheryl Prince) Snuggs and brother Paul Hood. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were 12 of her 13 siblings, Virgnia Zolciak, Bessie Terrell, Earl Hood, Janet Vandergrift, John Hood, JoAnn Tredway, David Hood, Nancy Hood, Cecil Tice, and Walter Hood and her husband Leon in 1980.

Memorial Services
Faye’s visitation will be Saturday July 1, from 10 a.m. until the funeral begins at 11:30 a.m. in Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
