Rose Mary Watson

Rose Mary Watson age 91 of Toledo Ohio passed away March 26, 2023, at Aviva Glendale. Rose Mary was born November 24, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Priscilla (Kobielak) (Wietrzykowski) Watson. An only child she graduated from Nativity Grade School in 1945, Notre Dame Academy in 1949 and St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1952. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a nurse for Dr. A.A. Applebaum & Associates for 20 years; Dr. W. H. Treuhaft and Associates for 10 years and retired from St. Vincent Medical Center in 1994. Rose Mary was active in the St. Vincent Alumni Association and a Board Member for over 50 years where she served in various capacities with the longest being Treasurer for 35 years. She was a member of St. Pius X Church since 1983 and loved traveling, playing cards and bingo as well as visiting casinos.

Preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are cousins and many close and lifelong friends.

Memorial Services
Visitation will begin Friday March 31, from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass begins at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church 3011 Carskaddon Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43606. with Fr. Craig Irwin OSFS officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio is assisting the family.
