Joyce Marie Tyburski

Joyce Marie Tyburski, age 92, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away November 17, 2022, in The Gardens of St. Francis, Oregon, Ohio, surrounded by her children. Joyce was born March 31, 1930, in Toledo to John and Charlotte (Chimiel) Pennock. She attended St. Charles Grade School and was a 1948 graduate of St. Ursula Academy. Joyce was a loyal, loving, generous woman who was devoted to her family. She was a great cook who loved family celebrations. You would never leave hungry. Originally from the Kuschwantz neighborhood, she raised her family in Lagrinka and was a long-time member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. She was a very special woman who loved and cared for most of the kids in her neighborhood.

Surviving are her loving children, David Tyburski, Sandra (Rex Simpson) Tyburski, Julie Cooper, Daniel (Joan) Tyburski, Joseph Tyburski and daughter in law, and brother Charlie (Judy) Pennock. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband David, son, John, brother Clifford Pennock, daughters in law Sherrie and Rhonda Tyburski.

Memorial Services
Visitation will be Sunday November 27, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd. Toledo, Ohio. The family will meet Monday November 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Adalbert Catholic Church where the funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Gardens of St. Francis and the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, for their loving care and support. Memorial contributions are preferred to St. Adalbert and Hedwig Parish or the Polish Cultural Center of Northwest Ohio.
